Change is something that happens. Either from necessity or circumstance, both involve leaving the current for new. It’s what we learn from the old that makes are decisions for the future wiser. Oxford for me has been an exercise in this and it is something I am unskilled at. I have been here for two months. Each week spent here I have learnt something and spoke to someone new. I have also found friends to speak to over coffee and friends to speak to while laying my head on a pillow. I sit here writing this remembering the thoughts on how I hated living here and how I knew no one, and that working shitty hours was my release for not meeting with friends in the evening. But towards the end of this journey my thoughts have switched, now I sit at work pouring continuous pints wanting to speak and express.
This is change. Necessity or Circumstance?
